About Us
The Story of Taner Özdeş Academy until the age of 34, I had no idea about the concept of personal development and had never even read a book on the subject. And to be honest, I hadn’t read books on any subject (unless I had to). In the year 1996, I attended the JCI Conference in Hawaii. Some of the world’s leading educators were present at this conference.
At that time, personal development was a fairly newly introduced concept. NLP was the most popular topic. I had the chance to attend Anthony Robbins’ seminar. I was impressed by the fact that business leaders were willing to pay $10,000 per hour to watch this energetic giant, which sparked an idea in me.
My career as an educator began at JCI, followed by the publication of my book “The 10 Golden Rules of Sales.” Over the course of 15 years, I conducted seminars, training sessions, and provided consulting services to over 50,000 people. I became interested in coaching in 2011. I decided that training alone was not enough to achieve results without coaching.
I realized that change in human behavior comes through interactive and engaging training. I waited for the right time to bring this idea to life.
In 2011, I got an email. Gözde Çelik, who was working as a Coordinator at a education company at the time, wrote that they wanted me to work with them as a trainer. Gözde Çelik and I successfully completed several projects together.
Although she was only 26 years old, she managed to impress me. I had found the right business partner for Taner Özdeş Academy. She also had the idea of setting up her own business. As luck would have it, we came together. And so began a journey that seemed quite challenging in Turkey…
Taner Özdeş Academy was now born.
We first conducted preliminary meetings with many of Turkey’s leading educators and coaches to establish Taner Özdeş Academy. Subsequently, through other coincidences, we decided to add social media consulting to our services—even though it wasn’t directly related—because we recognized its potential in Turkey and wanted to bring my sales and marketing experience to small businesses and new entrepreneurs. I would also like to mention that the average age of the team we’ve assembled for this initiative is 22. It is nearly impossible for a person to succeed in life or their career without investing in themselves and developing their skills after leaving school. Taner Özdeş Academy’s mission is to provide individuals and organizations with the highest quality and most cost-effective services in education, consulting, and coaching.
Why Did We Found Taner Özdeş Academy?
For me, life is built on people and human relationships. Life gains significance after you meet another person. I am a person who loves people.
Any initiative that adds value to people is valuable to me. Selling and marketing are professions aimed at understanding people and creating desire and motivation within them. In short, they are about people.
Taner Özdeş Academy aims to support any initiative that seeks to help people become better. Our goal is to add value to every person in our society.
